Different faces of Varanasi
In a boat on Ganges
That day I felt better, but still very weak. We were resting in the hotel's restaurant, which turned out to be very good.
At noon I had to go to the doctor for a control visit, because otherwise he would come to give me more injections:)) My mom, who yesterday rode to the doctor office with him on a motorbike and reportedly knew the way, led us through the winding streets. I still felt a bad smell, because of my sensitive nose. Obviously we lost our way a hundred of times, but in the end we reached a small office. Before entering one has to remove the shoes. The entire space consists of a narrow waiting room and a proper doctor's office separated by a thin wall. There is a small round window in the wall, looking through which, the doctor knows who comes in. As soon as we entered, he greeted us and ordered a tea for us (not chai, but a black tea with spices and sugar, of course, but without milk). The doctor was very pleased that I was better, and he invited me for another control visit the next day.
In the evening we rented a boat and went to the other side of the Ganges, where I painted the Ghats in my sketchbook.
